High water temperature and big tides made it tough for anglers at this years Kakadu Klash 2015 on the South Alligator River. 40 teams battled it out over three days from Thursday, March 19.
The competition has anglers recording their biggest barra of the day. Length sizes are collated and the team with the highest score wins the $9000 in prizemoney.
Greg and Ali from ‘Wake Up’ on Mix 104.9 presented the results on Saturday night at Aurora Kakadu.
RESULTS: THIRD – Team Kokoda (Dave, Dwanye & Rocque) with a total of 240cm. SECOND – Team Fusion (Michael, Daniel & Scotty) 248cm FIRST – Beast of Bourbon (Dave, Doug & Bradley) 254cm.
Special mention must go to Scott Partridge of Team Fusion who scored the biggest barra of the tournament with 118cm caught on the first day.
