The AFLNT has unveiled the top 40 footballers for the Northern Territory Government AFLNT Team of the Century at the historic Gardens Oval.
Featuring in the Top 40 is Michael Long, winner of two AFL Premierships with the Essendon Football Club, a Norm Smith medallist and Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee.
Three members of the Rioli family, two familiar LewFatt names, and Ilett brothers Jarred and Cameron feature in the list plus Australian representatives Andrew McLeod, Michael McLean, Cadji Dunn and Central Australian Joel Bowden.
The Team of the Century Selection Committee comprised of Shaun Hardy, Lincoln Jenkin, Charlie King, Bennie (Walter) Lew Fatt, Grey Morris and Jenny Sinclair.
A gala dinner will be held on Friday 2 September when a 22 man team and coach is named as the inaugural Northern Territory Government AFLNT Team of the Century.
