I had the pleasure of hosting the annual Chung Wah Society banquet at the weekend which saw more than 350 people converge on the Darwin Turf Club to celebrate the Year of the Monkey.
The annual fundraiser featured an auction and performances by the Jade Dragons, an all-girl drumming group plus the debut of the new LED Lions.
All performers have been busy fundraising for the past six months to send a group to the Bendigo Easter Festival next month. This will be a great experience for members to represent the Society and dance with other teams across Australia.
