For the very first time an emoji has replaced an actual word in the Oxford Dictionary.
The 'Face with tears of joy' emoji, or crying face, has been selected as the word of the year because it sums up the 'mood, ethos and preoccupations of 2015'.
The Oxford University says emojis are now a common part of modern speech, with even Hilary Clinton tweeting the popular emoji recently.
