Forget Melbourne. The place to be on Cup Day is the Berry Springs Tavern for a 'world first' saltwater crocodile racing competition.
Pub owner Ian Sloan has organised six juvenille salties to compete in the Croc Cup at the rural watering hole in Darwin's rural area.
Each croc will be placed in the centre of 'a large circle and the first to reach the edge of the circle wins'.
After the Croc Cup, guests will be treated to cane toad and turtle racing at the tavern.
