The 2015 Top End Gran Fondo has revealed an exciting new course and event format on Darwin’s cycling calendar.
Open to riders of all levels, this years Top End Gran Fondo will offer two main distances, the traditional 120km+ event and new Half Fondo 50km course. The new look course will start and finish at the Darwin Waterfront, traversing the city of Palmerston and out the Territory Wildlife Park and back.
The event will also host the Criterium Championships at the Territory Wildlife Park Saturday 15th before the main Gran Fondo event Sunday 16th. With a festival atmosphere and free Mini Fondo for the kids and the event will attract participants from all over.
Hosted by the Darwin Cycling Club, the Top End Gran Fondo offers you the chance to join a public participation ride in Australia’s northern most capital, a city renowned for its friendly and laid-back atmosphere.
