Ellen DeGeneres is facing a lawsuit from a Georgia woman who claims she experienced emotional distress after the talk show host featured her real estate advertisement on a segment called "What's Wrong With These Signs" in February 2016. DeGeneres joked about the sign reading "Titty Pierce" during the segment, though the defendant, Titi Pierce, pronounces her name as "Tee Tee" and claims that no one has ever mispronounced her name as "Titty" in "her 35 years of life," according to the lawsuit. Pierce, an electronics engineer and real estate agent, is suing for defamation, false light invasion of privacy, misappropriation of likeness and intentional infliction of emotional distress. In the lawsuit, Pierce says the show did not blur out her personal mobile number during the Feb. 22 airing. She explains that she was travelling to the funeral of a family member when the segment aired and began to receive several calls from unknown numbers. When she answered, she was mocked by "cruel voices" and continually harassed. “As a direct and proximate result of the Defendant’s conduct, Ms. Pierce has suffered stress, emotional distress, embarrassment, humiliation, anger and other mental pain and suffering,” the lawsuit reads.

Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones will be based on Robert Greenfield's book, which centres on the wild summer during which the band recorded 1972 album Exile on Main St.

Filmmakers are hoping to begin shooting at the beginning of next year (17) and casting directors are already on the look-out for potential Mick Jaggers and Keith Richards.

It is unclear if Jagger, who has produced TV shows and movies including Get On Up, Vinyl and Enigma, will be involved with the project, but his musician and actor son, James, could be among the stars on producers wish lists to play a young Mick.

James is currently playing a punk rocker on his dad's TV drama Vinyl.

Much of Exile on Main Street, the Stones' 10th studio album, was recorded in the basement of Richards' rented villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer, near Nice, while he and Jagger were living in exile in France after falling foul of Britain's tax laws

The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm, starring Larry David, will return to HBO in the US for its ninth season. After nearly five years off the air, a resurrection of the show was hardly expected. Larry David, 68, will be reprising his role as an over-the-top version of himself. 'We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,' said HBO programming president Casey Bloys. When asked about the exciting news, Larry said: 'In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, "I left, I did nothing, I returned.' Details of the new season will be announced as they are confirmed.

Bob Katter defends his political advert

Queensland MP Bob Katter has defended his latest political advertisement and says it's 'screamingly funny'. While the independent member for Kennedy is known for his unusual political advertisements, some think he has gone a step too far by releasing a campaign video depicting him as a cowboy shooting two men dead. The video's release comes just days after 50 people were killed in America's worst-ever mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. Bob Katter defended the political ad saying it was recorded before the Orlando shooting. Despite this, the ad has been met with anger on Twitter, but some have praised its boldness. Television host David Campbell tweeted it was in 'poor taste' as Americans continued to mourn those killed in the massacre. But Mr Katter has told Sky News he goes into 'fury' when he hears this. He said although the 'political correctness brigade' have criticised the advertisement, the rest of Australia 'thinks it's extremely funny'.

Keith Urban 1

Keith Urban's Ripcord World Tour continued this weekend with a performance at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, but toward the end of the two-hour-plus show, the country superstar's thoughts turned to a town a bit further away.

Noting that several fans had traveled from Orlando to attend his show, the "Break on Me" singer stopped to pay tribute to the victims of last weekend's mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in that city, which left 49 people dead and more than 50 injured. In tribute to the victims and their families, Urban performed a piercing version of U2's 1992 classic, "One."

"Although I didn't know anybody in that horrific incident, I did, because they’re just guys and girls, brothers and sisters," Urban said. "They had dreams, hopes, plans, just like every one of us. So, I know them like I know you guys."
